While the world was tuned into the Paris Olympics, 45 Softr team members from around the globe embarked on their own adventure—our annual Offsite! 🍋
This year, we gathered in Italy, where breathtaking landscapes set the stage for four days of bonding, brainstorming, and some friendly competition. Let’s take a look back at the highlights!
Day 1: Welcome to La Dolce Vita
We started our offsite with a warm welcome, a chance to unwind, and time to reconnect with colleagues both new and old. The evening was filled with rounds of Mafia, engaging conversations, and plenty of great Italian food.

Day 2: Shaping the Future of No-Code and Paintball Face-Off
The second day was all about strategy and teamwork. We started with a brand exercise where everyone tried to draw Softr's logo from memory. Let’s just say, we’ve now seen Softr’s logo in more colors and shapes than we ever imagined possible! After that, we moved on to team member introductions, which helped us bond over more than just our questionable drawing abilities.
Our Co-Founder and CEO, Mariam Hakobyan, then took the stage with an inspiring session, sharing Softr’s vision, strategy, and core values. The day took an exciting turn with an intense paintball showdown—team bonding has never been this intense!

Day 3: Visionary Sessions and a Treasure Hunt
Day three was packed with insightful sessions led by our Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams, each bringing fresh ideas and perspectives. Later, we switched gears for an AMA with our founders, Mariam Hakobyan and Artur Mkrtchyan.
The day wrapped up with a thrilling treasure hunt through the Italian countryside, complete with brain teasers, tree climbing, and a hike to the finish line.

Day 4: Softr Hackathon and Lake Garda
Our final day in Italy was a team favorite. We kicked off the morning with a productive hackathon, brainstorming and scoping out new projects. Then it was time for some well-earned relaxation as we set sail on Lake Garda, taking in the stunning views. The day was topped with a visit to the majestic Sirmione Castle and a magical sunset dinner.
Ciao for Now!
As all great adventures do, our offsite had to come to an end. We left with fresh ideas and cherished memories—from paintball to new projects in the pipeline, this offsite was one for the books.
Feeling the FOMO? We hope so! If you want to be part of the next one, check out our job openings and you might find yourself on our next adventure!
