Introducing updates to our pricing plans

Softr has five plans: Free, Basic, Pro, Business, and Enterprise. Paid plans start at $19 per month on yearly billing, and every plan includes unlimited apps, databases, workflows, agents, and forms. What changes between plans is how much you can use, and which controls you get over access and branding.

Softr meters five things rather than charging one flat per-seat rate: builders, app users, database records, monthly workflow actions, and AI credits. That matters when you pick a plan, because the limit you hit first is rarely the one you expected. A small team running a busy client portal usually hits app users first. A team syncing a large inventory table hits database records first.

Here's how the plans compare.

AI credits follow the same ladder: 5 per month on Free, 10 on Basic, 50 on Pro, and 100 on Business.

What each plan includes

Free

The Free plan is a real plan, not a time-limited trial. Use it to build and publish an app and put it in front of a handful of people.

  • Build unlimited apps, databases, workflows, agents, and forms.
  • Invite up to 3 builders into the workspace.
  • Add 5 app users across every published app.
  • Store 5,000 database records, and run 500 workflow actions per month.
  • Use the Softr API and MCP server, plus more than 36 integrations.
  • Spend 5 AI credits per month.

Basic

Basic suits one person building tools to run their own work. It adds the pieces you need to put an app on your own domain and collect data properly.

  • Everything in Free, plus a custom domain.
  • Conditional form logic, so forms react to what someone enters.
  • Automated database backup.
  • Extra built-in workflow actions beyond the Free set.
  • 5 team users and 5 client users, 50,000 database records, and 2,500 workflow actions per month.
  • 10 AI credits per month.

Pro

Pro is the first plan with granular access control, so it's the usual starting point for a client portal or an internal tool that different people should see differently.

  • Everything in Basic, plus the option to remove Softr branding.
  • Granular permissions and visibility, down to which records a given user sees.
  • One-time-password and Google sign-in for app users.
  • Advanced user actions and comments.
  • Custom code and API connectors, plus more than 39 integrations.
  • 10 team users and 50 client users, 500,000 database records, and 10,000 workflow actions per month.
  • 50 AI credits per month.

Business

Business is aimed at companies running Softr apps as production systems, where security review and scale both matter.

  • Everything in Pro, plus two-factor authentication.
  • Filtered user sync and domain-restricted signup.
  • Global data restrictions across the workspace.
  • An installable mobile app (PWA) and push notifications.
  • Priority support and onboarding, plus more than 46 integrations.
  • 30 team users and 100 client users, 1,000,000 database records, and 25,000 workflow actions per month.
  • 100 AI credits per month.

Enterprise

Enterprise is a custom agreement rather than a published price. It covers custom limits, SSO through SAML or OpenID, SCIM provisioning, advanced security and governance, audit logs, custom agreements and SLAs, a customer success manager, and custom integrations. Softr is SOC 2 Type II and GDPR compliant. To scope it, talk to our team.

How the limits are counted

The two limits people misread are builders and app users, so they're worth spelling out.

A builder is a workspace member or guest who can open Softr Studio and build apps, databases, and workflows. An app user is someone who logs in to an app you built. A builder can be added as an app user without counting toward your app user limit.

App users are counted as unique email addresses across every published app in the workspace. The same email used in three apps counts once, and deactivated users don't count at all.

App users then split into two types, which is what the "10 + 50" style numbers mean:

  • Team users: app users whose email domain matches the domain of any builder in your workspace. Free email domains like Gmail never count as team users.
  • Client users: every other app user.

The practical effect is that your own colleagues consume the smaller team allowance, and the customers or partners you serve consume the larger client allowance. On Pro and Business you can buy more app users past the included limit, starting at $1 and $2 per month respectively.

Two other limits behave differently from the rest:

  • Workflow actions pause rather than bill. When you hit the monthly limit, your workflows stop running until the limit renews or you upgrade.
  • AI credits included in your plan reset every month and don't roll over. Add-on credits roll over for one month. Running out of credits doesn't stop you working, because you can keep building in the no-code editor without AI.

Discounts, trials, and refunds

Everyone gets a free trial at signup with no credit card, and you can extend it once by choosing a specific plan to trial again. Yearly billing works out to two months free compared to monthly.

Non-profits and educational institutions are eligible for a 50% discount on any plan.

Refunds are full within 14 days of your first payment on a monthly subscription, and within 30 days on a yearly one. Email support@softr.io and we'll process it.
