Softr’s vision is to empower and enable anyone to create software without code. Since our launch about three years ago, Softr has grown to more than half a million builders building personal and business software on our platform. Today, we are launching new pricing for new users, to better reflect all our learnings about our customers and their growth, and address challenges with our existing pricing plans.

Don't worry, nothing's changing for your current plan as an existing customer – just want to address this right off the bat 😊

However, there are still some important details that might be relevant to you, so we do encourage you to read on.

Why are we making pricing updates?

Our platform has evolved tremendously over the past one-and-a-half years since we made our last pricing changes.

Since then, we’ve launched over 200+ features — 10+ new data sources, actions, conditional form, advanced logic, revamped blocks, and many other improvements — to help businesses of all sizes build mission-critical apps without code.

During this time, we’ve gained a better understanding of the needs of customers in each plan, and where our pricing caused confusion.

Based on what we've learned, we've tweaked our pricing to:

• Better align each plan's value with its intended use cases
• Offer more flexible ways for customers to scale their app

What’s new?

First off, all prices stay the same — no increases.

The main changes are around value metrics. To name a few:

• Merged “internal users” and “external users” to simply Users (counted at workspace level) with adjusted limits.
• Professional customers can have extra users beyond the included allowance at $1/extra users (billed in packs of 10).
• Some adjustments to feature packaging and additional usage metrics.

How does it affect me as an existing user?

If your workspace is currently on a Paid plan:

You can continue to enjoy your current plan and switch to other plans in the legacy pricing version – as long as you keep an active subscription. Please note, legacy pricing version here refers to the pricing plans introduced on February 6, 2023.

If your workspace is currently on a Free plan:

You can continue to enjoy the current Free plan if you don’t make any plan changes.

1. However, you’ll have until Nov 30th, 2024 to upgrade to any paid plan in the legacy pricing version. Once you do, you'll get the same benefits mentioned above.
2. After Nov 30th, 2024, you’ll only be able to upgrade to our new plans.
   

Will I get access to new features?

Yes!

Unless stated otherwise, any features we release in the future will also be available to corresponding plans in the legacy pricing versions. So far, we’ve never restricted features from customers in legacy plans, and we haven’t seen a need to do so in the foreseeable future.
